We’ve found journalling to be very helpful under the pillow …
when you can’t say it; write it
when you want to remember a moment forever
when you’ve made some budget decisions and want to track ‘em
when you write some song lyrics
when you just are feeling sketchy and want to draw something!
when you want to speak truth to one another, under the pillow
Ali and Leighton made their first tentative Studio Album in 2009 with 2 small children in tow "Year of the Home", also available from this online store. It seems Home won for a long time, as it wasn't until 2019 that Ali and Leighton re-entered the studio to capture their latest musical and lyrical thoughts (with four children in tow this time!). Entitled "The Rhythm of Us" and recorded by Rhys Zacher at Spinlight Studios, their second album contains 13 songs exploring universal concepts about love and family and has been described as "very relatable" and "have you been peeking in my windows and singing about my life?!”.
Tracks include:

Sometimes our audience mention to us their desire to donate to our music efforts, and become “Patron Investors” in the arts. We’ve created this patron link here in the store where you can support us with dollars of your choosing. We have never been brave to do this whole music ministry thing all out full time, but we have spent a truckload of dollars on what we have done, and anything we receive goes straight back into paying back past projects and putting towards new ones. We weren’t gifted to make money - but if that’s your gifting and you have means, intention and the desire to sow into what we are doing, you can add this to your cart. Thanks so much! - Ali & Leighton
